EAST AFRICAN COMMUNITY

 SUPPLY OF ICT EQUIPMENT: LAPTOP - DESKTOP COMPUTERS, UPS AND DESTOP PRINTERS FOR EALA.

1. The East African Community (EAC) is the regional intergovernmental organisation comprised of the Republic of Burundi, the Democratic Republic of Congo, the Republic of Kenya, the Republic of Rwanda, the Republic of Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, the Republic of South Sudan and the Federal Republic of Somalia. The Treaty for Establishment of the East African Community was signed on 30^th November 1999 and entered into force on 7^th July 2000.

2. The East African Legislative Assembly (Assembly) is an organ of the East African Community; established under Article 9 of the Treaty for the Establishment of the East African Community.
   
   
3. The EALA has been allocated funds to be used for the SUPPLY OF ICT EQUIPMENT –-LAPTOP - DESKTOP COMPUTERS, UPS AND DESTOP PRINTERS.

4. EAC invites your sealed bid clearly mentioned- SUPPLY OF ICT EQUIPMENT –-LAPTOP - DESKTOP COMPUTERS, UPS AND DESTOP PRINTERS FOR THE EAST AFRICAN LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY.

5. Bidding will be conducted through the Open Tender and is open to all eligible bidders.

6. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding document during office hours 0900 to 1700 hours at the address below on or before 8^th June, 2024 at 00 am East Africa time.

7. The bidding will be conducted by submission through the EAC Electronic procurement system. Interested bidders will be required to register and submit their bids through the EAC eprocurement system at http://eacprocurement.eac.int/. The system will reject any late bids. Bids will be publicly opened on the EAC eprocurement system. Bids will be addressed to:
