The East African Community (EAC) aims to inspire prosperity and unity among its Partern States through its visionary commitment to regional integration and sustainable development. The mission of the EAC is to promote economic cooperation and social integration by creating an environment that encourages free movement of goods, services, labor, and capital. Core values such as mutual respect, good governance, and inclusiveness underpin the EAC's efforts to foster peace, security, and economic development across the East African region. Through these guiding principles, the EAC aspires to transform the lives of its citizens, creating a prosperous and cohesive community.

Mission: The mission of the EAC is to broaden and deepen economic, political, social, and cultural integration to enhance the quality of life for the people of East Africa through improved competitiveness, value-added production, trade, and investment.
